Many of our FELA
and personal injury cases are referred by other out of state attorneys. Due
to our experience and familiarity with Missouri courts, we often serve as local
counsel for out-of-state parties or their attorneys with state or federal
litigation needs in this jurisdiction. Over the years we have become
familiar with the many reasons that compel attorneys to refer cases. These
may include the following:
- The referring attorney is
not interested in handling litigation
- The referring attorney does
not handle FELA claims
- The demands of the case
dictate that a firm that can deal with these demands be brought in
- Conflicts of interest may
prevent the attorney from handling the matter
- For financial, personal or
other reasons, the referring attorney simply does not wish to
represent the client
We are willing to either take over the case completely or work with you
in a joint handling of the case.
If you have a complex FELA or personal injury case and you need to refer
it or engage co-counsel, contact us at (314) 241-7700 or law@bauer-baebler.com.
