Background

Drew C. Baebler was born in St. Louis, Missouri.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., from which he graduated first in his engineering class with highest honors.  While at Catholic University he helped to design a myoelectric arm at Walter Reed Army Hospital. While attending Washington University School of Law, he worked summers in Chicago and Washington, D.C., for the largest patent law firm in those cities.  He received his Juris Doctor degree from Washington University in 1984.  He is a partner of the law firm of Bauer & Baebler, P.C.  The firm is nationally designated counsel for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen and the I.B.E.W. and approved by the Brotherhood of Boilermakers.
